Quite simply, great wine comes from great vineyards. We start with grapes grown in the Russian River Valley which are harvested with care and at optimum maturity. We employ traditional winemaking methods, aging in French oak and with attention to detail from the vineyard to the bottle.

Saralee's Vineyard ~ Russian River Valley
Pug Blanc is complex and full bodied, exhibiting elegant flavors of butterscotch, lemon, and kiwi with hints of applewood and pepper on the finish. Located two hours north of San Francisco, Saralee's Vineyard produces a small amount of cool climate marsanne and roussanne. These Rhone varietals were planted in 2002 in sandy loamed soil with only four feet between the vines. Extensive water channels and drain works and aggressive viticulture practices result in small yields and superior quality fruit. 2005 Pug Blanc was aged for 12 months in French oak.
